Military Mentor Certification

The purpose of the Motorcycle Mentorship Program is to establish voluntary installation-level motorcycle clubs where less experienced riders and seasoned riders can create a supportive environment of responsible motorcycle riding and enjoyment. Such an environment can create positive conduct and behavior and serve as a force multiplier that supports a commanders motorcycle accident prevention program.

Certification Requirements:

1. Be in the grade of E6 or above or volunteer civilian.

2. A mature leader with Command approval.

2. Be an experienced (five years or more on the appropriate motorcycle type) and current motorcycle rider in good standing.

3. Complete the BRC, BRC2 (ERC) and the MSRC or ARC-ST.

4. *Complete the BRC RiderCoach Prep Course to become a Motorcycle Safety Foundation certified RiderCoach.

5. Attend an additional 4 hour classroom block that focuses on mentor duties.

Upon completion Mentors will be presented a Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoach Preparation certificate of completion and a Motorcycle Training Academy Military Mentor certificate of completion.

and each graduate will receive an Icon Mil-Spec "Instructors" vest.

 

 

 

 

 

*Proof of requirements 1-3 must be provided prior to scheduling requirements 4-5. Minimum students for requirements 4-5 is 8.
